Oswald Bwechwa heads into his first season as Head Coach of the Milwaukee Lutheran Boys Soccer team.  Although this is his first season at the helm, he is not a stranger to MLHS soccer, having coached as an assistant for both boys and girls for the past several years.  Coach Oz is excited to take over and very upbeat about the upcoming season.  He says, “One of the things I'm most excited about is the young talent we have on the team, our athleticism and the growth of our young guys from last year”. The MLHS boys’ soccer team has not been a powerhouse in recent years, but with a group of young talented players, combined with hard work, the team has their goals set higher this year.  Coach Oz goes on to say, “Our season goal is to improve from last year, win at least 10 games, and of those 10 games, we have circled WISCO as our signature game of the year. We have always had great battles with Wisconsin Lutheran and the natural rivalry that comes with it, makes it a really fun game each year”. Coach Oz continues to build this program from the ground up as just last year MLHS has started the Jr. Red Knights soccer program in conjunction with WEPLAYFORHIM REC ASSOCIATION.  Coach Oz looks to build a winning tradition here at MLHS and the sky is the limit.  For the first time in several years MLHS will have a JV team as well as a Varsity team.  “This is the first step in accomplishing that goal.  This will serve as the foundation as we build this program to the level we believe we will get to”, said Coach Oz.  Good Luck to the Red Knight Soccer team as they get ready to start their season!
